!!!!NATIONWIDE TRAVEL REQUIRED!!!!

TILE INSTALLATION, CARPET INSTALLATION, POLISH CONCRETE EXPERIENCE PREFERRED.

Responsibilities:

A Supervisor, or Team Leader, is responsible for overseeing a group of professional floor installers. Their duties include relaying information between their team and project manager, guiding their team through daily work activities or projects and monitoring employee performance to ensure a safe work environment, good quality and maximum productivity.

  • Verifies material delivery schedules with field operations and office.

A.Initial site verification: Verify materials and quantities on site. Verify beginning schedule date. Verify with both GC and installation crews’ materials storage areas and crew rally points

  • Jobsite Inspection

A.Ability to inspect and verify job site conditions: Floor specifications requirements for installation. Checks for ambient temperature and relative humidity for adequate standard specifications. Communicates with GC, Project Managers and installation crews site job concerns regarding safety, quality, and efficiency. Verifies materials and labor needs and or other elements that can jeopardize the installation.

  • Product Knowledge

A.Base knowledge of products being used (per manufacturer and industry standards): Keeping up-to-date product specifications. Ability to identify and verify discrepancies in products versus specs and communicate to proper channels

B.Baseline knowledge of installation procedures: Keep up to date on current installation standards. Keep current on any new procedures and or certifications

C. Baseline blueprint reading skills and ability to discern addendums etc.

  • Professionalism

A.Ability to represent the company: Professional appearance. Company standard for uniform. Professional oral and written communication on the job and the office headquarters.

B.Communication skills that are fitting for both the GC and the installation crews: Respectful tone and proper etiquette use at all times (these are customers and agents our company)

C.Ability to verify crew abilities: Determine the installation crews skill set for proper allocation.

D.Ability to properly manage crews and GC with company core expectation in mind: Ability to communicate improvements and corrections to installation crews properly. Communicate the GC any variables on site corrections in a professional manner.

  • Safety

A.OSHA 30 required: OSHA 30 course and card required. PIT Certification (every 3 years). First Aid kit at job locations

B. Understanding and implementation of OSHA safety practices: Proper use and implementations of safety gear. The ability to communicate and instruct installation crews on any PPE requirements and implementations of any gear. Follow safety protocols and lead by example by following and reinforcing unsafe acts and conditions on the job. Able to identify and retrieve MSD sheets to take the necessary precautions when working with chemicals. Able to create a safe work environment while working with propane power equipment by ensuring proper ventilation and monitor and ensuring safe CO2 levels in the job site.

  • Equipment

A.Operation: Ability to trained on the operations of necessary equipment required to perform assigned projects. Ability to do minor equipment and report repairs and maintenance when necessary (oil and tire pressure, proper equipment guarding etc.) Ability to diagnose and safely repair minor equipment issues or breakdowns.

B.Handling or Storage: Knowledge of proper operational use of tools, tooling, and all work-related equipment to properly and safely perform and complete projects assignments. Proactively monitor job safety, quality and efficient behavior and make the necessary corrective actions.

  • Safe Driving Practices for Company Truck Operation

Qualifications: Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record. Knowledge of vehicle maintenance and basic repair skills. Ability to read and interpret road signs, maps, and GPS navigation.

Physical Requirements: Ability to sit for extended periods while driving. Capable of lifting and moving cargo when necessary. Good vision and hearing to recognize hazards on the road.

Work Environment: Will be required to drive in various weather conditions and on different road types. Flexibility to adapt to changing schedules and routes.

Must be willing to travel.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $50,000.00 - $90,000.00 per year
