In keeping with the Dignity Health Central Coast Service Center health care philosophy the Employee Health Coordinator will manage all Employee Health activities to assure optimum health for our employees. These activities include but are not limited to the following: manages new hire process annual requirements vaccinations EH record maintenance and management of injured workers through the workers compensation and early return to work programs. Responsible for preparing reports to outside agencies and internal committees. Provides care for adult employees and volunteers (age 16 years or older). This position will report to the Service Area Director of Employee Health or designee.
Minimum Requirements:
- Valid California Registered Nursing License.
- Minimum of three years clinical ER or occupational health experience in an acute care facility.
- Excellent communication skills both written and verbal.
- Ability to maintain excellent employee relations.
- Demonstrated skills in problem solving and sound decision making.
- Familiarity with OSHA and Title 22 requirements a plus.
- Computer and keyboarding skills with the ability to operate in various software programs including Microsoft Office workers compensation and OSHA tracking programs.
Preferred Requirements:
- Prefer evidence and/or experience in Infection Control & Workers Compensation management.
