 RF Test Technician

Job Description

• The RF Power Business Unit is responsible for the design and production of RF Power transistors for Aerospace & Defense, Communications, and Multi-Market segments. You will:
  
• Be responsible for building and testing of State-Of-The-Art RF Power demonstration circuits for A&D, Multi-Market and Basestation applications,
  
• Write detailed test reports on the demonstration circuits you have built,
  
• Provide technical support on the demonstration circuits you have provided to the customer base.
• This position is full-time (40 hours).

You have your own opinions, and you value the opinions of others.  It is an absolute must that you are hands-on.

• Associate Degree in Electrical/Electronic Engineering.
• Experience with operation and calibration of an RF Power (spectrum analyzer, network analyzer, power meter) test setup.
  
• Hands-On board level tuning and optimization of matching networks.
  
• Provide clear status reports by collecting, analyzing and summarizing test data.
  
• Familiarity with AutoCAD or other drawing packages is a plus.
  
• Knowledge about mechanical fixture and interconnect design as it relates to RF Power transistors is a plus.
  
• Fluency in spoken and written English.
• Fluent with Microsoft Office products. 
• Work Authorization:  Becausethis position is part of a business unit that contracts with the U.S.government, qualified candidates must be a U.S. Citizen or U.S. PermanentResident.
