Responsibilities:
Perform Physical tests using variety of lab equipment.
Monitor daily test failures and alert Management to out of line conditions.
Monitor accuracy of physical test reports issued from department.
File correspondence and finishing process sheets.
Flammability testing.
Receive, prepare and test upholstery, synthetics, drapery, military and commercial samples and report results.
Perform and comply with all applicable job related operating procedures and work instructions.
Maintain daily records for dry cleaning machine as required by EPA.
Other functions that may be assigned by Supervisor or Management.
Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent.
Competent reading/writing skills to read and comprehend process manuals and work orders.
Able to work assigned schedule of up to 10 hours and Saturdays.
