Overview:
Embark on an exciting opportunity to spearhead the development of requirements, design, integration, and validation of RF antenna circuits tailored for cutting-edge products.
Core Responsibilities:
- Guide the definition and evaluation of RF requirements.
- Lead the design of RF circuits, encompassing chip and PCB antennas, along with component selection.
- Provide support for RF simulation and PCB layout.
- Develop comprehensive RF test plans for product verification and validation.
- Execute and assist in RF parametric testing.
- Contribute to RF test development for manufacturing processes.
- Assist in the development of validation test equipment.
- Facilitate Homologation testing and certification via external labs.
- Prepare and deliver technical presentations to customers.
Additional Responsibilities:
- Oversee the approval of new components and their seamless integration into products, including taking charge of PTN/PCN investigations.
- Prepare and maintain the component list (BOM), schematic, and other design documents.
- Conduct statistical calculations of tolerances, worst-case analysis, and simulations.
- Provide support for layout reviews, with a focus on EMC and RF aspects.
- Foster strong collaboration with team members across all disciplines.
- Possess a minimum of 4 years of hands-on experience in RF design.
- Proficient in the design and verification of wireless applications within the automotive environment.
- Experience in simulating, prototyping, and testing RF antennas, inclusive of antenna matching circuits and components.
- Skilled in evaluating and reviewing customer requirements and product specifications.
- Solid understanding of RF test equipment and associated procedures.
- Detailed knowledge of Homologation certification processes to ensure compliance with relevant regulations and standards.
- Hands-on experience with lab test equipment, such as oscilloscopes, waveform generators, and spectrum analyzers.
- Hold a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or an equivalent field.
