Description
Develop, create, execute, test, and verify test plans for quality control, validate and identify defects to improve Human Machine Interface (HMI), User Interface (UI), and User Experience (UX) in conventional ICE passenger vehicle and Battery Electric Vehicle (BEV) Virtual Cockpit Unit (VCU), Center Stack Module (CSM), Body Control Module (BCM), Central Gateway Module (CGM), Instrument Panel Cluster (IPC) and In Vehicle Infotainment (IVI). Identify, track and assign fixes for malfunctions, crashes, and poor performance for Android based infotainment features including Bluetooth connectivity, Phone calling, Personalization, OnStar connectivity, LTE network, OnStar Advisor, Emergency Calling, Front-Reverse/360 Camera,and Trailering, in Android and QNX programming languages, using Git, Gerrit, Jenkins, Artifactory, Android Studio IDE, IBM Rational Team Concert (RTC), IBM Rational Quality Manager(RQM), Jira, TeraTerm, and Vehicle Spy tools, and neoVI FIRE2, RAD-Moon, and Navigator hardware. Improve Human Machine Interface (HMI) including application, service and systemlevels in Android OS, following Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe).
Additional Description
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, or related. Twenty-four months’ experience as Engineer, Developer, or related. Must also have experience with developing and executing test plans for quality control, validating and identifying defects to improve Human Machine Interface (HMI) and User Interface (UI) in passenger vehicle VehicleCockpit Unit (VCU) or Center Stack Module (CSM).
