Position Summary:
This position is responsible for supporting third-party payer contract tracking, contract renegotiation modeling, Government payer credentialing, provider credentialing/re-credentialing, payer online directory maintenance processes, and project support for the Revenue Cycle Teams (Registration, Scheduling, and Business Services), with occasional EPM file maintenance support. In addition, this role will ensure contract interpretation compliance with the appropriate accrediting and regulatory agencies, while developing and maintaining a working knowledge of statutes and laws relating to credentialing. This position is responsible for the maintenance of the contract database, and over/under payment analysis reporting.
Minimum Qualifications: A minimum of two (2) years related experience and/or training; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Preferred Qualifications: College Degree preferred. CPC (Certified Professional Coder), or Credentialing Specialist certification is preferred.
Wage: $20.00 - $30.00, DOE
