Key Duties and Responsibilities
The key duties and responsibilities of the Revenue CycleCash Posting Supervisor include, but are not limited to:
- Ensure Timely and accurate posting of all manual and electronic transactions on a daily basis.
- Provide comprehensive onboarding and ongoing training to the Cash Posting team, ensuring adherence to quality standards.
- Organize workflow and clarify duties or delegate tasks for payment posters.
- Monitor the productivity of payment posters to ensure deadlines are met.
- Establish performance goals, offer constructive feedback, and provide coaching when necessary.
- Participate in recruitment activities for cash management staff.
- Fulfill assigned duties and assist colleagues as directed.
Education/Experience
- High School diploma or GED
- Minimum 3-5 years business office, Revenue Cycle posting experience
- Cash posting reconciliation experience
- Strong computer skills/experience with Microsoft Excel, Outlook, and Adobe
- NextGen and Amkai experience is a plus
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
- Understands how to interpret and read EOB’s
- Detail Oriented
- Ability to navigate insurance payors websites/portals
- Excellent organization and interpersonal communication skills
- Complete understanding and an in-depth working knowledge of healthcare Revenue Cycle
- Ability to serve as both a hands-on manager and a high performing individual contributor
- Excellent judgement, understand what s/he does not know and what questions to ask to reach well informed decisions that minimize risk
