Summary of Position: RetailProduct Manager and Strategist leads the overall Retail Product strategy toensure sales and brand development goals are met or exceeded.  This rolerequires collaboration across all internal departments to deliver 'OMG' productand brand experiences across multi-channel business models. Multi-productcategory planning, buying, and lifecycle management, coupled with dynamic andfast-paced go-to-market execution, requires proficiency in merchandisingmathematics, intense focus on sales efficiencies, and laser focus on timeline,product, and project management. Success in this role requires strongleadership skills, a proven ability to motivate teams, harness brand momentum,and a consistent drive for results within a dynamic organization.

 

Duties and Responsibilities:

 

Product Strategy Management

        Direct and oversee theimplementation of product strategies across various categories, channels, andbrand experience concepts, encompassing Retail Stores, Retail Events, andonline platforms.

        Collaborate closely withthe Vice President of Retail to develop short-term and long-term salesforecasts in alignment with financial and brand growth objectives.

        Lead, mentor, andcooperate with your team and other internal support functions to executemerchandising strategies effectively.

        Create and execute aproduct development calendar, ensuring efficient timeline management for theRetail division and internal support teams.

 

Strategic Planning and Analysis:

        Thoroughly analyze saleshistory, market data, and the brand's DNA to construct comprehensive, dynamic,and compelling product strategies across all channels and brand experienceconcepts.

        Strategize themerchandising approach for Dream Boutique, Events, and Retail Stores,encompassing merchandise flow and product selection.

        Collaborate with Design,Marketing, Costing, and Supply Chain/Procurement teams to achieve pricing andproduct positioning goals.

        Emphasize the analysisof sales data, customer feedback, and the alignment of organizationalobjectives across divisions.

 

Merchandising Leadership:

        Oversee the end-to-endmerchandising process, collaborating with all internal departments to curate,edit, and assort products, ensuring the attainment of sales and brandobjectives.

        Develop, implement, andmeticulously manage the execution of product strategies, with the flexibilityto adapt as customer preferences evolve.

        Drive the complete salescycle and product lifecycle, engaging internal teams and customers withproducts consistently and efficiently.

        Collaborate with Designand Marketing to establish a comprehensive product database for historicalreference.

 

Reporting and Trends:

        Provide swift productdrop reports with clear execution directives for Marketing and Design teams.

        Deliver in-depth reportson key seasonal and event trends to capture valuable insights for futureplanning.

        Supervise the executionof the line plan to ensure compliance with business requirements.

        Work closely with theSupply Chain to ensure that product timing, volume, and seasonality align withthe overall retail timeline, sales delivery, and seasonal/event needs.

 

Leadership and Team Collaboration:

        Foster a collaborativeand respectful work environment that encourages a can-do attitude.

        Lead with a sense ofurgency and composure, guiding the team through fast-paced timelines andhelping prioritize deliverables.

        Provide leadership withclear and intentional directions, including well-defined timelines, goals, andongoing support.

        Attend Large ScaleBoutiques and Pop-Up Events as required.

 

Qualifications:

        Bachelor's degree inmerchandising, clothing/textiles, business/management, or a related field.

        A minimum of 7 years ofluxury retail experience, including buying/planning/allocations, merchandising,management, or equivalent roles.

        Exceptional attention todetail and accuracy in work.

        Proven experience inomni-channel sales and enhancing the customer experience.

        A successful trackrecord in driving and managing substantial sales growth.

        Proficiency in P&LManagement.

        Active involvement inmanaging store environments, retail teams, and visual merchandising.

        Experience in drivingbrand awareness and advocacy through marketing plans, campaigns,community/influencer relationships, etc.

        Proficiency inmerchandising mathematics and sell-through management.

        A deep passion forenhancing the customer and brand experience.

        Mandatory experiencewith single-branded retail pop-up shops and wholesale operations.
