Overview of the Position

The Kitchen Supervisor will oversee the following areas of the restaurant:

• Prep (Ready to Eat) menu items
• Dishwasher
• Raw chicken rotation, filleting, and breading
• Pressure fryer and Waffle Fries Cook
• Food Prep & Assembly
• Food Safety
• Routine cleaning and maintenance of cooking surfaces and restaurant equipment

Responsibilities

• Ensure food is prepared, cooked, assembled, and presented safely, quickly, and efficiently, meeting Chick-fil-A standards
• Oversee team members to ensure cooking and assembly are conducted correctly
• Follow all food safety procedures/behaviors
• Keep the kitchen organized and clean; Follow daily restaurant cleaning checklist
• Communicate clearly with fellow team members and Directors
• Nurture a kind and professional environment with all staff
• Keep track of necessary supplies and place in proper storage area
• Maintain a well-groomed and clean appearance and professional dress
• Comply with all portion sizes and quality standards
• Assemble, clean, and maintain operating equipment: pressure fryer, open fryer, grill, temperature gauges
• Lead opening or closing of restaurant

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years of age upon hire date
• Must be eligible to work in the United States
• Must have a source of reliable transportation
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with a growth mindset
• Must work well under pressure
• Ability to work on your feet for up to 5-hour shifts
• Ability to lift 30 lbs or more
