Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Ancillary Products Sales Manager.

 

  • Assist in the development of the annual VRF/Ductless/Controls marketing plan, specifically advising on: realistic forecasts for the VRF/Ductless/Controls product lines against the regional plan (based on historical data, market trends, competitive activity, promotional strategy and sales effort).
  • Build strong and positive relationships with existing, new and future dealers, consulting engineers and contractors is highly critical to meeting strategic VRF/Ductless/Controls and  financial and share targets.
  • Responsible for obtaining profitable results through a sales team focused on the VRF/Ductless/Controls strategy
  • Provide high standards of ongoing value based selling skills training and product training for the sales team, so that they possess above average industry knowledge to present information on the company's strategy in a professional and persuasive manner.  
  • Participate in the recruiting process to hire and train Account Managers: Develop, coach and motivate the sales team to ensure that a high professional standard is achieved, and monthly sales and growth targets are met.
  • Conduct meetings and business reviews using business intelligence (BI) tools to identify opportunities to increase share, sales and profitability.
  • Excellent time management, organization and planning skills are essential to be successful in this role. All candidates must be self-starters with proven ability to handle multiple priorities
  • Ability to communicate both verbally and in writing to a wide variety of skill/knowledge levels in addition to possessing excellent presentation skills
  • Work with Specifying engineers and design- build contractors to help specify CE products.
  • Provide and /or coordinate technical and product training to customers.

This position will require approximately travel 35%.

Requirements

Requirements: Ancillary Products Sales Manager

  • 5+ years of proven technical sales, HVAC sales experience
  • Solid understanding of HVAC principles
  • Verifiable experience with specified products
  • Strong presentation skills
  • Strong analytical, strategic thinking and problem-solving skills
