Restaurant Manager – ATL Seafood 2 Go
We are seeking an experienced and motivated Restaurant Manager to oversee the daily operations of our independent, take-out seafood restaurant. Our new restaurant located in Southwest Atlanta is only open 4 days per week. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in food preparation, inventory control, and restaurant management. As a Restaurant Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of the kitchen. This is a leadership position that requires excellent communication skills and the ability to effectively manage a team. As we continue to grow, and possibly expand to more locations, we are seeking a talented and experienced manager to join our team.
The Restaurant Manager will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the restaurant, including managing staff, ensuring customer satisfaction, and maintaining financial records. The ideal candidate will have experience in the restaurant industry, strong leadership skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Our ideal candidate has proven experience in restaurant management, preferably in a high-volume establishment as an experienced operator with kitchen manager or executive chef experience.
Responsibilities:
· Manage and oversee all FOH and BOH aspects of the restaurant
· Hire, train, and manage staff
· Ensure customer satisfaction by providing excellent service
· Maintain financial records and manage budgets, compiling, preparing and maintaining P&L statements, budgets, and cost controls regarding food and labor
· Develop and implement marketing strategies to increase sales
· Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations
· Collaborate with the kitchen team to create new menu items and specials
· Implement cost-saving measures without compromising quality
· Resolve customer complaints and issues
· Monitor inventory and order supplies as needed
· Hold team members accountable to our high standards through effective coaching and communications
· Train team members by observing, providing feedback, modeling specific tasks or procedures, communicating expectations, and following up to increase their performance and morale
· Conduct team member performance assessments to recognize contributions and to develop and improve the Team member’s job performance
· Hold pre-shift meetings to inform team members of daily specials, upcoming events and initiatives
· Benefits available after 90-day probation period.
Requirements:
· Proven experience as a Seasoned Restaurant Manager
· Strong leadership and management skills
· Excellent communication and customer service skills
· Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
· Knowledge of restaurant operations and financial management
· Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays
· Proficiency in Toast POS or similar restaurant management software
· Safe Serve qualified
