As we continue our expansion, we are seeking a dedicated Training Coordinator to play a key role in supporting and coordinating all training systems, processes, and development initiatives for our team members. Culture: Today there are 23 locations across Los Angeles, Orange, and Riverside counties with more on the way in 2024.
Summary of Position:
The Training Coordinator is responsible for ensuring the successful completion of all training activities, developmental workshops, and initiatives. Reporting to the Director of Training & Development, this role actively contributes to the development efforts of managers and hourly team members, focusing on Front-of-House areas, including Host/Cashier, Dining Room, Restrooms, Waiting Area, Patio, and Carryout/Delivery.
- Salary: $70K+ Bonuses

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Lead and direct all training activities as assigned by the Director of Training.
- Actively participate in the development efforts of managers and hourly team members.
- Provide coaching and direction to develop employee skills in designated areas.
- Coordinate with other departments to ensure timely delivery of training materials.
- Keep inventory of training items needed and assist with recruiting, hiring, and onboarding activities.
- Lead informational updates related to the deployment calendar.
- Coordinate administrative tasks associated with new initiatives and restaurant openings.
- Prepare and maintain internal reports/processes as necessary.

Travel/Schedule:
- Up to 70% travel may be required.
- Varying schedule, including days, nights, graveyard, weekends, and holidays.
**Required Education and Experience:
- Strong understanding of restaurant operations and new restaurant opening processes.
- Desire to train and lead others.
- Strong work ethic and ability to work independently.
- Reliable transportation.
- Experienced in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Publisher, and PowerPoint).
- Previous knowledge of NORMS Restaurants operations and systems is a plus but not required.
