Island Time is searching for a Reservations Agent to perform a variety of reservation and front desk duties. This position is providing front office and back-office support to the Guest Service Manager and entire Island Time team.
This role is centrally located at our office and will be using Escapia Property Management System and Breezeway to complete reservations, provide detailed quotes to guests, sales orientated, enter owner reservations, as well as take incoming calls answering questions about properties, reservations, service calls and guest issues.
The ideal candidate will work closely with the Guest Service Manager to insure exceptional customer service, reservation checks for accuracy, guest communication throughout the reservation process and during the guest stay, along with a myriad other related tasks.
Responsibilities
- Greet all guest, owners, and vendor as they enter the lobby
- Recommend and sell the property inventory for rental
- Follow up on leads for reservations and guest inquiries
- Answering high volume of phone calls
- Managing a high flow of customers efficiently & effectively
- Assist property owners with reservations and questions.
- Actively listen and resolve complaints. Record all tasks in Breezeway to allow for follow up from the property manager
- Communicate using email, SMS, and phone calls
- Coordinate and manage communication between guests, staff and vendors and follow up to ensure we resolve customer concerns
- Assisting with the creation of arrival packets of information for guests including code creation, property information, parking passes, contracts etc.
- Assist Guest Services Manager in attending to guest calls, brainstorming problem solving and execution with guest for satisfaction.
