Research Assistant

Responsibilities will include data collection, participant recruitment, data management, and assisting in the analysis and interpretation of research findings. Assist with surveys, and enter data into databases and perform regular data quality checks. Ensure data integrity and confidentiality. Follow research protocols and standard operating procedures to ensure the study's integrity and reliability of data. Adhere to ethical guidelines in research involving human subjects, ensuring participant rights, privacy, and confidentiality. Contribute to the preparation of research reports, manuscripts, and presentations for conferences and scientific publications. Work collaboratively with other research team members, including principal investigators, co-investigators, and graduate students.
The hourly compensation range for this role is $26.68 - $41.71. An offer will take into consideration the experience of the final candidate, position requirements, AND the current salary level of individuals working at UCSF in a similar role.
For roles covered by a bargaining unit agreement, there will be specific rules about where a new hire would be placed on the range.
