Remote Benefits Call Center Representative
El Paso, TX or nearby surrounding region only
Work from Home
Training: Monday – Friday 8:00AM-5:00PM EST (3-5 weeks)
Production: Monday – Friday 1:30 PM - 10:00 PM EST.
*Must be able to work this shift*
Starting pay rate is $15.00 an hour
About the Benefits Call Center Representative role:
As a member of the Benefits Call Center team, you will help people every day by taking calls, actively listening, while discussing employee benefits. Calls can range from healthcare benefits, retirement benefits and additional employee perks. You will manage a steady volume of incoming calls, throughout your entire shift, from customers while navigating through multiple systems. You may also be asked to perform back office duties, such as, but not limited to, processing claims, filing paperwork, etc. As a Call Center associate, you will be responsible for:
- Completing transaction(s) related to the customer’s inquiry with limited supervision while meeting timeliness and accuracy standards.
- Explaining the appropriate participant forms and provides guidance on completion.
- Completing follow up and call backs in a timely manner and escalate as appropriate.
- Gathering information to keep customer profiles and accounts up to date
- Providing great customer service.
Requirements
We’re looking for people with a passion for customer service, natural empathy, and the determination to deliver a comprehensive resolution. To be successful in this role, you will have:
- Have a High School Diploma or an equivalent level of education.
- Be able to successfully pass a criminal background check and drug test.
- Ability to successfully complete a mandatory paid training program.
- Be able to type a minimum of 20 WPM (words per minute) on a computer.
- Have legal authorization to work permanently in the United States without requiring a visa transfer or visa sponsorship.
- Previous customer service and/or Call Center experience.
- Demonstrate great problem-solving skills
- Keyboarding and MS Office proficiency.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Ability to effectively multi-task
- Must have internet/Wi-Fi service.
- Must have a phone.
- Must have a secure private workspace within residence.
