My goal as the Vice President of Manufacturing is for us to improve the working experiences of our team members through our values. Ongoing Projects
- Improving Maintenance practices, documentation and approaches.
- Applying our Operational Excellence Model to all that we do and insuring that it is the foundation of the why and way of what we do.
Your Role as an Intern
You will be a part of a dynamic team, supporting the following tasks:
- Maintenance reliability documentation
- PM job planning
- Improvements to the maintenance practices
- OPEX documentation
- OPEX integration with floor processes
- Other ad hoc projects as needed

- Collaboration - You will work closely with process metallurgists responsible for pressing, forging, hot rolling and/or annealing operations, requiring strong partnership skills.
What Do We Require?
You must be:
- Currently enrolled in a bachelor's degree program majoring in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or Industrial Engineering with a minimum 3.0 GPA.
- Willing and able to work on-site at our Reading location.
- US Citizen or US Green Card Holder.
Pay Range
Hourly rates are based on: 1 - Program of study; 2 - Degree type (i.e., Bachelor's); 3 - Progression in degree (i.e., 1st year, 2nd year, etc.). Interns enrolled in a Engineering-related bachelor's degree program will be paid $19-$23 per hour.
Commuting/Housing Assistance (If Eligible)
Interns who must commute to work from outside the immediate Reading area (over 50 miles one-way), will be paid a one-time lump sum payment of $2,400 (less applicable taxes) as excessive commute allowance. Interns who choose to temporarily relocate from outside the immediate Reading area (moving over 50 miles one-way), will be paid a one-time lump sum payment of $4,800 (less applicable taxes) as a housing allowance. If applicable, this payment would be made during the first payroll cycle, which would be three or four weeks following the internship start date.
