Registered Professional Land Surveyor
Highly respected, recognized leader in the Land Surveying industry is seeking a Land Surveyor licensed in the state of Texas. The rapid growth of our company has created the demand for someone who can immediately provide expertise in the surveying of a wide range of residential and commercial projects.
Must have a Registered Professional License in the state of Texas
Responsibilities
- Conduct land surveys using a variety of equipment, including GPS, total stations, and digital levels.
- Prepare survey reports and maps, ensuring that they are accurate, complete, and comply with applicable laws and regulations.
- Manage survey projects, including scheduling, budgeting, and resource allocation.
- Collaborate with clients, engineers, and other stakeholders to understand project requirements and develop survey plans.
- Provide technical guidance to survey crews, ensuring that they have the necessary equipment, materials, and resources to complete their work.
- Conduct quality control checks on survey data and reports, ensuring that they are accurate and complete.
- Maintain survey records and documentation, including field notes, plats, and other legal documents.
- Stay up to date with industry trends and new technologies, ensuring that survey methods and equipment are up to date and efficient.
- Ensure compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and ethical standards.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in land surveying, civil engineering, or related field.
- Current license as a Registered Professional Land Surveyor (RPLS) in the state of Texas.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in land surveying or related field.
- Strong technical skills and experience with a variety of surveying equipment and software.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with clients and other stakeholders.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to make decisions in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficient in AutoCAD with Carlson Survey software.
- Knowledge of land surveying laws, regulations, and ethical standards.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
- Ability to work flexible hours and travel as required.
