We are growing and seeking a skilled and motivated Dental Assistant to join our fun and dynamic team at RH Dentistry of Memorial! We are a private FFS/PPO dental practice with a mission to educate and serve patients as well as have fun while doing it! The ideal candidate is passionate about patient care, detail-oriented, interested in educating patients and learning about mouth-body connection, comprehensive dentistry, and possess excellent communication skills. As a Dental Assistant, you will play a crucial role in providing high-quality dental care and ensuring the smooth operation of our practice!
Responsibilities:
- Assist the dentist during a variety of treatment procedures
- Prepare and sterilize dental instruments and equipment
- Take (x-rays) and be comfortable with scanning (I.e. Itero)
- Educate patients on oral hygiene, post-operative care, airway, etc.
- Maintain accurate patient records and documentation
- Prepare and maintain treatment rooms
- Schedule and confirm patient appointments
- Provide exceptional customer service to patients and their families
- Perform various office tasks as needed to support the practice
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent; completion of a Dental Assistant program preferred
- X-ray certification in TX is required
- Minimum 3 years dental assisting experience
- Strong knowledge of dental procedures and terminology
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Attention to detail and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Familiarity with Open dental software is preferred
- Professional and friendly demeanor
