Our Music Academy is looking for a Voice Instructor who can teach all the way from a beginner level to advanced Jazz lessons. Ability to teach other instruments is a plus but not a must. We are one of LA’s largest private music schools and are dedicated to cultivating an exceptional environment for music education. We offer group classes and private lessons. We also teach group classes off site at local elementary schools. We do all the work so you can teach!

- Able to teach on location at TMA and offsite at local schools
Qualifications
- Strong musical skills and knowledge of music theory
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Outgoing personality with a passion for teaching music
- Nurturing and supportive approach to teaching
- 5 years teaching experience
- Experience with kids and adults
- Experience teaching groups
- A positive attitude during instruction: the ability to encourage and motivate students to work through their weak areas and to build upon their strengths.
- should be available to teach 2-3 days a week, including Saturdays from 9am-5pm or Sundays 9am - 5pm.
- Commit to teach current schedule for a minimum of two years. We are looking for teachers who want to teach. If you have frequent gigs and absences, this may not be for you.
- Timely and reliable: we believe consistency in lessons is important to student growth and success.
- Must have a car
