Line Cook/Prep Cook

Barrel House Social in La Grange is looking to add a full time line cook to our team. The ideal candidate is highly proficient on grill and sauté, passionate, and a team player. Must have experience in fast paced environments and upscale dining.

Responsibilities:
- Prepare and cook menu items according to recipes and quality standards
- Assist with food preparation tasks such as chopping vegetables and preparing sauces
- Set up and stock stations with all necessary supplies
- Clean and maintain work areas, equipment, and utensils
- Follow all safety and sanitation procedures
- Collaborate with the culinary team to ensure efficient and smooth operations

Skills:
- Proven experience as a line cook or prep cook in a catering environment
- Knowledge of various cooking techniques and culinary terminology
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Strong organizational skills and ability to prioritize tasks
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to follow instructions and adhere to recipes accurately
