Nice-Pak Products, Inc. (NP) is the global developer, manufacturer, and marketer of pre-moistened wipes for the consumer market, specializing in personal care, hygiene, household cleaning, and disinfection products.
We are currently looking for a Regional Sales Project Manager in our Orangeburg, NY, location.
POSITION PURPOSE:
The Regional Sales Project Manager acts as the sales Liaison responsible for leading the execution of cross-functional projects while working closely with Marketing, R&D, Operations, Procurement, Graphics, and our customers. The primary responsibility for this role is to manage projects that are in Stage 4 of development to shipment. This includes new product concepts, renovations, and improvements to existing products with assigned Customers. The Regional Sales Project Manager will lead project planning activities, track progress (project meetings, timelines), and communicate progress/risk within the organization.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND BASIC DUTIES:

  • For Customers assigned, owns and manages Stage 4 activities. Conducts weekly team calls, producing a timeline, identifying business risks and action items, supporting the RADAR production calls, and processing artwork within the internal and external customer graphics systems.
  • Manage the Customer portfolio of product development projects to meet strategic objectives for both the Customer and Nice-Pak.
  • Work with cross-functional teams to identify and implement efficient and effective product development and commercialization strategies.
  • Manage project activities and resources in a manner that efficiently utilizes team members and ensures key milestones and deliverables are met on time and on budget.
  • Responsible for Customer artwork, including routing process and artwork approval, as well as the key contact with the Customer's art house.
  • Effectively communicate project issues, status and go forward plan with leadership to ensure alignment.
  • Work with Sales Planning to phase out current items and minimize NPU by aligning shipment of new products with the end of the current.
  • Use a structured and disciplined approach to managing projects, leveraging project management techniques and tools. Verify timing, resource availability, and risk based on cross-functional knowledge and comparable items/situations.
  • Escalate cross-functional issues on projects to appropriate Management/Stakeholders.
  • Identify key business metrics and develop tracking to monitor status and progress.

PERFORMANCE MEASUREMENTS:
  • Achieve timelines for product launches
  • Work to transition products to achieve objectives for all transitions
  • Achieve NPU goals for all transitions

QUALIFICATIONS:
EDUCATION/CERTIFICATION:
  • Bachelor's Degree

REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE:
  • 3 - 5 years working within project management, product development, or a similar function, preferably in a CPG environment
  • An entrepreneurial self-starter with strong oral and written communication skills, comfortable communicating across functional levels
  • Strong analytical skills

EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
  • Minimum of 3 years experience working with retailers (with responsibility for direct contact)
  • 3 - 5 years working within project management, product development, or a similar function, preferably in a CPG environment
  • Project management certification is a plus
  • Past track record of handling multiple projects with varying scope and time horizons

SALARY RANGE:
$80,000 - $85,000
