Willert Home Products is looking for an experienced Consumer Packaged Goods (CPG) sales professional to undertake key aspects of the sales department, including (i) maintaining and developing sales accounts for a territory or region and (ii) sales support (documentation & reporting) for the team. We are looking for someone who is experienced, dedicated, and self-driven who will be excited to achieve ambitious goals as an integral member of our sales team. This role is located in St. Louis, Missouri at our Corporate Headquarters. This position is in the corporate office and travel can be up to 20-40% of the time.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES: Execute sales & sales support functions daily, including:
- Identify, Maintain and Develop: key independent, regional, and national accounts
- Support members of the sales team with reporting needs
- Develop a business plan to drive new items with existing and new customers
OTHER RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Plan, develop and implement Willert Home Products' new item and promotional plans to retail accounts
- Maintain key accounts and develop new business across multiple channels
- Develop and present creative and results oriented presentations to distributors and/or key accounts
- Work with distributor account managers to elevate awareness of the brand
- Attend and actively participate in tradeshows and events
- Achieve company sales goals within your region while managing & tracking spend efficiently
- Work closely with the finance and product teams to make sure that all pricing and deductions are managed effectively
REQUIREMENTS:
- 3-5+ years of Food CPG sales experience with recognized sales track record
- Bachelor's degree preferred
- Experience calling directly on key regional and national accounts
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Highly organized, strong attention to detail and time management skills
- Desire to be part of a team and willingness to roll up your sleeves and work across functional groups
- Positive attitude, a thirst for knowledge, and an excitement for growing our business
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and Google Business Suite, Ability to learn Infor
COMPENSATION: Salary, Eligible for Year End Bonus subject to performance, 401k with a match, health insurance. Salary based on experience and requirements, range: $70-75k annually.
