- Manages the regional Sales and Marketing team, who is accountable for all gasoline and distillate fuel rack sales, including all daily rack pricing administration, within assigned region
- Collaborates closely with the bulk supply and trading teams to balance the bulk/rack sales quantities and locations to ensure the cost effective and reliable clearing of the refineries while also maximizing overall sales profitability
- Manages unbranded/branded marketing representatives within respective region
- Establishes and maintains exceptional working relationships with customers
- Negotiates and actively manages rack sales contracts
- Ensures sales contracts' counterparties, durations, locations, pricing, terms & conditions are developed in conjunction and collaboration with their supply & bulk trading colleagues and fully considers bulk sales alternatives
- Leads team's utilization of the company's Decision Making Framework structure to rigorously assess business opportunities
- Identifies new markets and customers and continuously works to increase profitability by upgrading the current portfolio
- Formulates the team's long and short-term performance goals in conjunction with the Director, Product Sales & Marketing and the VP, Product Supply & Marketing
- Communicates with the Director, Product Sales & Marketing and the VP, Product Supply & Marketing, informing him/her of conditions, activities and trends in area of responsibility which may have an impact on the broader business
- Ensures budgets, schedules, and performance requirements are met
- Works with Credit Department when needed
- Leads team through crisis management
