Regional Sales Coach (Baton Rouge, Jackson, Lake Charles, Prairieville, Sulphur, Zachary)

The role of the Regional Sales Coach is responsible for the implementation of sales strategies designed to increase financial performance of credit union branches within designated territory. The position coaches branch management and staff to achieve budgeted and strategic goals. The RSC recommends programs and promotions to Senior Management that will generate revenue and proposes new tools and strategies to increase sales efficiency. The ideal candidate is a go-getter who thrives in a fast-paced environment and has a passion for serving others. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Products is a must! They should be comfortable working independently and as a contributing member of a team. Meeting deadlines and attention to detail are critical pieces of this position. Our Regional Sales Coach must embody Pelican's Core Values and provide excellent service in all that they do.    

A Day in the Life of a Regional Sales Coach INCLUDES:

• Analyzing sales performance and trends, and execute strategies to improve where needed
• Providing feedback, support, and coaching to the branch staff
• Acting as "brand ambassador," displaying high levels of professionalism with daily interactions
• Discussing sales strategies/tactics as they are periodically evaluated for effectiveness
• Suggesting and/or conducting training to continuously grow expertise of CU employees to reach or exceed sales goals

Regional Sales Coach Skills and qualifications include:

• BA or BS in Business Administration or another business-related field.
  • Additional related experience may be considered in lieu of education
• Five years of experience in underwriting, sales, training, relationship management and/or business development.
• Excellent oral, written, and telephone communication skills
• Strong problem-solving, attention to detail, and member service skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office products
