Days 7am-3pm; Weekends required
Under the direction of the supervisor, the Client Coach is responsible for providing basic care to clients, including activities of daily living, and performing a variety of other duties.
- Ensure the health and welfare of the clients served.
- Hands-on care, assisting with bathing, dressing, personal hygiene, and grooming needs of clients.
- Assisting with bowel and bladder programs.
- Assisting with meal preparation, feeding, and monitoring weight.
- Assist clients with medication and treatment plans as needed.
- Performing housekeeping and kitchen duties as assigned.
- Able to perform patient lifting and transfers independently and with assistance.
- Learning and implementing compensatory strategies and behavior interventions
- Complete all required documentation in accordance with applicable state agencies and facility policies and procedures
- Implement behavioral and other programs as trained and requested
- Assist clients with their goals as outlined in their plan of care documents
- Identify potential behavior triggers and defuse or redirect as needed to ensure safety and well being of everyone involved.
- Knowing history of clients and carrying over behavior management techniques and awareness of individual programs.
- Ensuring appropriate level of supervision to assigned clients.
- Carrying out therapeutic activities and medical protocols.
- Ensuring clients follow daily routines.
- Transporting clients on outings and appointments.
- Attending on-going in-service training as required by state mandates and company policy.
- Performing other duties as required or assigned.
Work Location: One location
This position will be hired with full time hours. Benefits available after the 90 day probationary period.
