The School of Continuing Education and Workforce Development is currently searching for a part-time Recruitment Specialist to join our team.

Position Summary:

Part-time position located in Hollywood, Florida. The individual will implement student recruitment initiatives and coordinate various recruitment and enrollment activities that support the Holz Technik Academy, a registered apprenticeship program.

Summary of DutiesEssential Responsibilities:

Work closely with the Coordinator of Apprenticeship/Student Success Coach at Hudson County Community College (HCCC) based in New Jersey

Assists in developing and planning the recruitment strategy for identified high schools in the Hollywood, Florida, area.

Actively participates in developing and implementing process improvement systems related to recruitment operations.

Interacts directly with Principals, Guidance Counselors, Teachers, Students, Parents,

and other key stakeholders providing critical programmatic information.

Actively participates in external recruitment programs via public and media presentations.

Coordinates and actively participates in Open House events at identified high schools, community events, and company tours.

Assists with maintaining recruiting documentation and records.

Performs other student recruitment services and activities as required.

Qualifications

Position Requirements:

Education & Experience:

An associate's degree and 1-2 years of related experience are preferred. In lieu of an associate degree, 3 – 4 years related experience.

Miscellaneous Requirements:

Must have a valid Florida driver’s license and vehicle to visit area high schools and local community events.

Knowledge of Broward, Dade, Monroe, and Palm Beach communities.

Special Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

Ability to plan and implement marketing and recruitment strategies. Strong verbal and written communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills are required to communicate effectively with prospective students and high school staff. Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
