Recruitment Coordinator

WATCH GUARD 24/7, a leading, quality security guard contractor, which provides armed and unarmed security personnel and Fire and Life Safety Directors to many business sectors within the NY Metropolitan area. We have an impeccable reputation and as such are one of the fastest growing providers in New York, New Jersey & Connecticut. We are seeking a Recruiting assistant who will be responsible for sourcing, screening, and recommending candidates for positions as well as preparing and maintenance of new hire documents.

Schedule: Monday-Friday 830am-5pm Salary $25.00 per hour

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Assisting recruitment and perform other activities such as resume & phone screens, candidate, as well as maintaining all new hire paperwork
• Arrange pre-employment drug testing, background & references screenings, if applicable.
• Place/update all job postings in various media outlets including internet/intranet sites, colleges, social networks, community boards and with staffing partners.
• Initiate and represent the company at recruiting events like job fairs, providing company/job information and interviewing applicants.

Education and Experience:

• Higher education (college degree) or equivalent work experience.
• Understanding and a working knowledge of recruitment/employment programs.
• Demonstrated knowledge of various recruiting techniques, and experience in online/social media recruiting.
• Proven ability to communicate and effectively ‘sell’ an organization’s value proposition.
• Must possess excellent oral/written communications, interviewing and interpersonal skills.
• Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook), internet, and Applicant Tracking Systems.
• Strong customer service skills and ability to interact within a team environment.
• Strong work ethic and sense of integrity and trustworthiness.
• Creative in brainstorming and proposing new ideas and solutions to existing problems.
• Willing and able to travel locally (NY, NJ, etc.) on an as needed basis.
