**February 20th will be the last start date for all SY23-24 Elementary and Middle School teachers. High School positions will continue to be filled on a rolling basis. We are actively hiring for all positions for SY24-25.**

As an SAT teacher in New York City’s top-performing network of K-12 charter schools, you will join a team of professionals committed to teaching and preparing children from low-income neighborhoods to be self-assured thinkers and leaders, capable of exploring and debating sophisticated ideas, and ready for college and whatever they set their sights on.

As an SAT teacher at Success Academy, you will be responsible for delivering engaging lessons that target key concepts and strategies tested on the SAT exam. You will work closely with students to identify areas of strength and weakness, providing personalized instruction and support to maximize their potential SAT scores. In addition to classroom instruction, you will administer and analyze practice tests, offering valuable feedback and guidance to help students improve their test-taking skills.Collaborating with colleagues and administrators, you will contribute to the development and implementation of comprehensive SAT preparation programs aimed at ensuring student success in college admissions.

A background in education is not required. At Success Academy, we provide you with extensive training and a proven curriculum so you can focus on working with your students instead of building lesson plans.

• Have the opportunity to grow as a leader and ultimately a leader of the entire grade team. There are also opportunities to enter our school leadership track as an assistant principal as well as to transition to our network office.

Minimum Qualifications:

• A bachelor’s degree before your first day of work with Success Academy

• A rigorous and relevant academic major (i.e, biology, history, chemistry, economics, physics, English, mathematics, engineering)

• Ability to work in person in New York City ($2500 stipend for qualified relocations)

• Supervise a classroom of 20+ students
