Recruiting Coordinator

AIT Worldwide Logistics is looking for a Recruiting Coordinator to be a key player on the Talent Acquisition (TA) team. With the growth the company is experiencing, we need someone to step up to the plate who enjoys building relationships, staying busy, and thinking on their feet. While nurturing a best-in-class candidate experience, this individual will work closely with the TA team on all aspects of the recruitment process, often playing a crucial role in hiring.

• Initiate and oversee the background check and drug screening process, including key relationship contact with our third-party vendor and assisting candidates in verifying any discrepancies.
• Assist in sourcing, screening, and dispositioning candidates.
• Participate in employer branding initiatives and events that position AIT to attract top talent, including supporting social media messaging, coordinating AIT participation in job fairs, etc.
• Partner with the Talent Acquisition team on projects and initiatives.
• Maintain/update key Talent Acquisition metrics used by Talent Acquisition and Human Resources leadership teams, as well as temporary staffing data.
• Post open jobs to the company website and manage job postings on appropriate job boards.
• Coordinate interviews and post-interview debrief meetings with recruiters and hiring managers.
• Partner with colleges and universities on creative ways to engage with students.
• Maintain contact with leads, applicants, and candidates for current and future opportunities.
• Respond to general emails and inquiries.

Education Qualifications

• Associate's Degree in related field Required

Experience Qualifications

• 1+ years of experience in HR or related field Preferred

Skills and Abilities

• Proficiency with HR software and Microsoft Office Suite applications; prior experience with iCIMS ATS a plus
• Strong organizational skills with keen attention to detail 
• Excellent interpersonal, collaboration, written, and verbal communication skills 
• Ability to multitask and prioritize workload effectively in a dynamic environment 
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and appropriately handle sensitive information
• Creative thinker who is comfortable bringing new ideas to the table
