This fast-paced, recruiting role will primarily focus on selecting the best Flight Attendants to represent Mesa Airlines while adhering to all State/Federal employment laws and Company practices, procedures, and policies.
Essential Functions:
- Review applications and determining best candidates to move forward in the selection process
- Schedule and conduct information sessions for candidates
- Interview candidates and prepare summaries and recommendations to senior leadership for review
- Arrange new hire classes and provide travel arrangements as necessary
- Evaluate recruitment and selection criteria to ensure compliance with professional, statistical, and hiring standards, recommending revision as needed
- Maintain current knowledge of Equal Employment Opportunity (EEO) and affirmative action guidelines and laws, such as the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA)
- Perform search for qualified candidates according to relevant job criteria, using computer databases, networking, intranet/internet recruiting resources, etc.
- Maintain and ensure system records are accurately recorded and cross-checked
- Coordinate onboarding needs in partnership with Human Resources Department
- Communicate in a courteous, professional, and timely manner with candidates, other recruiters, as well as other departments
- Maintain professional communication with outside contacts, vendors, and applicants in relation to the recruiting department

- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office - Word, Excel, Outlook and Access
- Experience in recruiting, inflight, and/or HR preferred
- Equivalent education and experience will be considered
