Careage (Senior Management Services) is seeking a Recruiting Specialist to support the every-day needs of a growing senior healthcare management company!
As a Recruiting Specialist, this individual will work with various managers across all of Careage’s operating entities to find the best employees for their individual departments. They evaluate candidates, assess their resumes and credentials, conduct phone interviews, and build a network of potential employees for consideration. This entails sourcing and screening candidates, coordinating the interview process, and facilitating offers and employment negotiations, all while ensuring candidates have a pleasant experience.
Note: This is not an HR position.
Summary of Duties and Responsibilities
- Receive job requisitions and publish job openings via ATS and appropriate job boards.
- Review job applicants, filter out qualified applicants, and schedule as appropriate.
- Prepare weekly candidate status reports for hiring managers
- Source candidates using a variety of search methods to build a robust candidate pipeline (social media, job boards, job fairs, etc.).
- Conduct initial phone screenings of all qualified applicants and schedule interviews for the hiring manager.
- Perform reference checks as needed.
- Facilitate the offer process by extending the offer and negotiating employment terms.
- Stay abreast of recruiting trends and best practices.
- Ensure all screening, hiring, and selection are done in accordance with employment laws and regulations.
Requirements
- High school Diploma or Equivalent; Associates Degree in Business or equivalent experience is preferred
- Minimum 1 year of previous administrative/office experience is required.
- Healthcare industry experience is a plus!
