Home Instead is looking to hire a Human Resource and Assistant Recruiter to join in our mission to enhance the lives of the aging adults and their families.
Voted Tri Cities Best - Home Instead has an important role within our organization where the Human Resource and Assistant Recruiter will be one of the first interactions with various audiences: clients, our wonderful caregivers, and potential caregivers looking to join our team.
This position will work with the Home Instead team to recruit, hire, and retain our wonderful Care Pros.

Primary Responsibilities are not limited to the following:
- Meet with potential Caregiver applicants to determine position suitability
- Provide orientation and trainings
- Coach Caregivers so they feel supported and valued
- Manage Caregiver hiring process, including drug screening and background checks
- Use of spreadsheets to capture trends and data
- Ensure Caregiver meet certifications and CEU's
- Maintain regular attendance in order to execute job responsibilities
- Must be willing to participate to cover on-call (rotating), evenings and one weekend day a month
- A background in HR, recruiting, and compliance with emphasis on retention is desirable
- Must possess a valid driver's license
- **Priority given for experience in home care, health care, social services, or a senior-related industry preferred
- Have a passion for serving seniors and Veterans
- Ability to demonstrate "customer first" prioritization of activities
- Have 1 year in an office environment, or applicable experience
- Able to work in a fast-paced environment and under pressure with high call volume
- Professionalism and confidentiality is essential
- Must be a team player and work well with others, and be able to take direction from owners and staff members
- Must be organized, attention to detail, and a self-starter and able to multi-task and follow through
- Must be willing to learn and grow
- Must be reliable and dependable
- Ability to anticipate challenges, initiate solutions and prioritize multiple tasks
- Ability to demonstrate effective problem-solving skills
- Order all needed office supplies; maintaining an up to date inventory
- Put together all needed materials for training, marketing etc
- Must have the ability to establish good working relationships with the Human Resource manager (direct supervisor), office colleagues, Caregivers, community members, and the local franchise owners
- Pay range is $18-$21.00 per hour, based upon experience and applicable certification(s)
