Position Summary: The Human Resource Assistant / Recruiting Specialist is responsible for providing support to the Human Resources Manager and the HR department with major initiatives set for by the Company. Other duties include recruiting, employee on-boarding, ensuring compliance with accepted HR rules & guidelines, auditing and maintaining employee records, as well as other ad hoc administrative duties as assigned by the Human Resources Manager. This role to the success of the organization by providing prompt, efficient, and friendly service to candidates and employees.
Essential Functions:

- Provides administrative support to the Human Resources Manager
- Full Cycle Recruiting and Staffing
- Updates and maintains accurate employee records; including personnel files, HRIS database, other HR related documents, and files reports as necessary.
- Prepares New Employee Onboarding sessions, processes paperwork for new hires
- Is a backup for benefits administration and Payroll.
- Promptly identifies problems and effectively utilizes resources to address problems in a satisfactory manner.
- Demonstrates positive interpersonal relations in dealing with physicians, vendors, visitors, co-workers, management and employees in a professional and confidential manner.
- Communicates accurate and pertinent information with patient care providers and other members of the care delivery team to facilitate effective and efficient patient care.
- Maintains a professional and courteous attitude with all people, including fellow employees, patients, management staff, providers, and outside vendors. Cooperate with other department personnel to ensure a “team effort” and prompt service.
- Maintains confidentiality in performing assignments relative to any information received directly or indirectly. Ensures that all information regarding patients and/or employees are kept confidential.

Education and Experience:
- Education:
- High School Diploma or Equivalent required.
- Bachelor's degree in human resources, business administration, health care administration or related field of study preferred.
- Experience:
- 1+ years of Human Resources experience: Preferred
- 1+ years of Recruiting experience: Preferred
