The world's trusted source of non-medical home care for seniors is seeking an outgoing, experienced person to join our Human Resource team. Recruiting caregivers is the major focus in this role, beginning with creating and implementing recruitment plans, ad creation, interviewing, hiring, and tracking retention. In addition, working with the team to perform HR functions such as follow ups, training, or coaching and counseling. The successful candidate will possess exceptional verbal and written communication, will be detail oriented, and able to perform in a fast paced, team environment. Experience in recruiting is highly preferred. Experience working in a home care or home health agency office is a plus. This is a full time position. The hours are 8:30am-5pm, Monday through Friday, with occasional flexibility, in our Gahanna, OH office.

Key Duties and Responsibilities:
- Lead, mentor and manage caregiver team, including coaching conversations and annual reviews
- Full cycle recruiting ownership
- Handle every employment and caregiver interaction in a friendly, professional and knowledgeable manner
- Regularly develop and implement new recruitment and retention strategies and programs
- Schedule and conduct applicant interviews and phone screens
- Strictly follow the Home Instead Standards; conduct very thorough reference checks, criminal background, motor vehicle checks and drug screens on all new hires
- Work with the team to maintain a 90-day caregiver onboarding program
- Create and update on-line recruiting advertisements and social media promotions
- Conduct regular, on-going recruiting events, open houses, open interviews, fellowship events, etc.
