Job Title: Truck Driver Recruiter, located in Van Wert, OH.
This position offers hybrid work opportunities; however, candidates must be willing and able to come onsite as and when required.
Salary: $45k-$55k base plus potential to earn up to an additional $40k with commission
Job summary: The recruiter will execute a wide spectrum of recruiting services and manage administrative tasks, overseeing the organization's operations from the interview phase through orientation and onboarding, all aimed at ensuring seamless and efficient processes.
Duties/Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement effective recruitment strategies to attract and hire qualified Class A CDL drivers and onsite personnel.
- Utilize various recruitment channels, including online job boards, social media platforms, and industry-specific networks, to source potential candidates for both driver and onsite positions.
- Screen resumes, conduct interviews, and assess candidates' qualifications, skills, and experience.
- Collaborate with hiring managers and supervisors to understand their specific requirements and align recruitment efforts accordingly.
- Coordinate pre-employment procedures, such as background checks, drug testing, and reference verifications.
· Effectively coordinate travel arrangements, encompassing tasks such as arranging rental cars and securing hotel accommodations.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date candidate records in the applicant tracking system using DriverReach and other applicable software systems.
- Communicate company benefits and opportunities to potential hires.
· Stay updated on industry trends, labor market conditions, and changes in regulations affecting driver recruitment and onsite personnel hiring.
· Ability to cross-train into HR and assist the HR department as needed.
· Perform other duties as assigned.
Required Skills/Abilities:

· Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
· Ability to function well in a high-paced and at times stressful environment.
· Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
Physical Requirements:
· Prolonged periods of sitting/standing and working on a computer.
· Must be able to lift up to 20 pounds at a time.
Education and Experience:
· Associate degree or equivalent experience in related field preferred.
· Prior-related driver recruitment and/or HR experience preferred.
