This position is responsible for managing full cycle recruiting, including sourcing, candidate management & on-boarding for entry level and / or experienced related openings. Responsibilities may be based on local, regional or North American recruiting strategy / initiatives.
- Manage full cycle recruiting process to meet various staffing goals
- Utilize various recruiting / sourcing methods and tools to develop pipelines, candidate pools, engage passive candidates to meet customer needs
- Track and report key metrics designed to measure effectiveness of staffing activity
- Act as an account manager for other designated Honda companies, providing recruiting guidance, direction, and expertise
- Serve as a liaison between contracted recruiting resources, hiring managers and candidates
- Participate in projects related to strategic staffing and business plan initiatives
Qualifications, Experience and Skills:
Required Work Experience:
- 3 to 5 years of HR experience,
- 1-2 years in recruiting related experience which are as below:
o Knowledge of HR practices - legal and confidentiality
o Understanding of the manufacturing environment
- Bachelor’s degree in HR or related field, or equivalent experience preferred
- Knowledge related to staffing, recruitment, interviewing methods and processes.
- Expertise utilizing social media platforms for sourcing and recruiting
- Experience using multiple Job Posting platforms
- Experience with passive candidate recruitment and sourcing
- Understanding of laws and regulations related to staffing and recruitment.
- Experience recruiting engineering and technical positions
- Experience recruiting and sourcing for experienced and senior level positions
- Open office environment.
- Travel required: Average of 2-4 recruiting trips in the fall and 2-4 trips in the winter (Roughly 30% of the time during peak recruiting season)
