Caregiver Recruiter

The Role
As an Alvita Care Recruiter, you will be responsible for sourcing/recruiting best-in-class home health aides, personal care aides, certified nursing assistants, licensed practical nurses, and registered nurses.
What You Will Do
- Proactively source candidates utilizing current and new methodologies
- Schedule and conduct in-depth, in-person candidate interviews while safeguarding a legally compliant process
- Collect, process, and validate selected candidate's documentation and credentials
- Assist in the onboarding and orientation process of new hires, ensuring a positive candidate experience
- Input and disseminate applicant/onboarded caregiver information utilizing Job Diva applicant tracking system
- Assist market manager in developing and deploying recruitment strategies, job postings, and engaging with the market colleagues on campaign and talent planning efforts
- Work with an onboarding specialist to obtain the necessary documents for onboarding
- Build community resources: Home Health Schools, Nursing Schools, Job Fairs, and community networking to help build and maintain a stellar pipeline of qualified applicants
- Conduct off-site and on-site open houses and recruiting events
- Maintain candidate and personnel files in compliance with NYS DOH
Who You Will Be
- Recruiting experience is a plus but is not required
- Firm knowledge of the island; ability to come into the Hauppauge, office daily
- Demonstrated ability to multi-task in a high-volume recruiting position
- Detail-oriented with the ability to prioritize and follow up with sense of urgency
- Technically savvy-proficient in use of smartphones, tablets, laptops and other devices
- Exceptional written, customer service, and communication skills
- Demonstrated ability to communicate and follow-up in a timely manner
- Focus on time management and organizational skills
