Sr. Account Supervisor - Fashion Pr

We are seeking an experienced Public Relations Sr. Account Supervisor to join our clients New York fashion PR team. This role is pivotal in driving the development and execution of comprehensive communications strategies for our clients. The ideal candidate will possess extensive experience in media relations, client management, and team leadership, particularly within the fashion industry. This is an executive role, reporting to the Founder and CEO.
RESPONSIBILITIES

• Strategic Leadership: Spearhead brand communication strategies, including crisis management. Utilize analytical and creative thinking to engage diverse audiences and simplify complex narratives.
• Media Relations Mastery: Develop and maintain relationships with key media contacts. Oversee the creation of press materials and manage media events. Respond to media inquiries and arrange client interviews.
• Content Development: Supervise the creation of compelling content, ensuring alignment with client's branding and marketing strategies. Oversee the production of client materials like media alerts, bios, and press releases.
• Team Management: Lead and develop a team of communications professionals, ensuring client objectives are met with exceptional organizational and relationship skills. Provide constructive feedback and encourage team growth.
• Client Relationship Management: Act as the main liaison between clients and our team. Oversee regular communications and updates, ensuring client satisfaction and retention.

• A minimum of 8-10 years in communications/public relations. Prior experience in fashion PR, sample trafficking, and stylist relations is a must.
• Bachelor's Degree in Communication, Marketing, Public Relations, or Journalism.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, strong media network, ability to manage multiple projects, proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and PR tools.
• Detail-oriented, flexible schedule, strong leadership and team management skills, creative thinking, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Able to work a hybrid work week in NYC.
• Proven experience building a team.
• Strong leadership qualities, with the ability to manage multiple projects efficiently.
• Proven experience in the media landscape, especially in the fashion sector.
• Proven experience engaging with diverse, high-profile clients in the exciting world of fashion PR.
