Job Summary: Seeking a Bridge Inspection Team Leader for biennial and condition inspections on large bridges in and around New York City including Verrazano-Narrows Bridge and Robert F. Kennedy (Triborough) Bridge. Key Responsibilities: Lead Inspection Team and perform Bridge Inspection and structural analysis as required Develop inspection documentation forms prior to field work Perform field measurements and document existing conditions Prepare technical inspection reports Perform additional duties as assigned Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering NY PE license Minimum (3) three years of Bridge Inspection experience Completed the 2-week NHI Bridge Safety Inspection Course Excellent verbal and written communication skills Experience with TBTA or other local agencies, preferred If you are an experienced and technically competent bridge engineer/inspector looking for an immediate career advancement opportunity while performing challenging work in a thriving community with like-minded professionals this job is perfect.
