We are a privately owned, well established small animal practice of over 40yrs in Gilroy, CA. We are just 20 minutes south of San Jose. Our busy two doctor practice provides an environment rich in opportunity for learning and gaining experience. We primarily care for dogs and cats with the occasional pocket pet, but no matter the patient, they are all treated like family. We are able to provide preventative health, acute, diagnostic, and surgical care for our patients.
We are looking for veterinary experienced individuals that have a strong work ethic, love of animals and people, good communication skills, and a positive energetic attitude to join our team. Critical thinking skills, attention to detail, multitasking, accuracy, working well under pressure and high volume, good customer service skills, and the ability to work independently and problem-solve situations are a must.
Employment type: 20 - 28 hours (part time)
Work hours: M-F 8-5, Sat 8-12

Compensation: $20/hour and up depending on experience
Desired skills and responsibilities would include but are not limited to:
- Medical/veterinary knowledge/background (ideal but not required)
- Multitasking
- Work with high volume of clients in a short span of time
- Communicate well with others
- Answering Multi-line phones
- Greeting Clients and checking them in
- Making appointments
- Labeling and Filling prescriptions
- Filing and Maintaining accurate medical records
- Taking payments
- Reconciling at the end of the business day/week/month
