PositionSummary
The Receptionist ensures every visitor or phone call is directed to the appropriate staff member in the assigned office.

KeyDutiesandResponsibilities
- Answers and efficiently routes incoming calls accordingly.
- Documents and distributes messages as necessary.
- Greets visitors to the reception area and contacts appropriate staff to assist.
- Maintains lobby and reception area in an organized and professional manner.
- Performs clerical duties such as filing and preparing documents for mailing as needed.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
MinimumQualifications
- High school diploma or GED.
- Six months of experience working in a receptionist or customer service role.
- Professional communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to maintain professional composure in high traffic situations. Computer proficiency including Microsoft Office tools and applications.
PreferredQualifications
- Experience interacting with all levels of an organization and its clients.
- Understanding of Taft-Hartley environment.

WorkingConditions/PhysicalEffort
- Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
