We are busy Chiropractic & Physical Therapy office looking for a pleasant part-time front desk receptionist to join our ever growing team. This job requirements include attention to detail, competent computer skills, the ability to multitask and an outgoing personality. Some daily tasks include but are not limited to; answering phones, greeting and scheduling patients, collecting payments, verifying health insurances. Harnessing an overall positive synergy within our team.
```Duties```
- Greet and welcome patients and visitors in a professional and friendly manner
- Answer phone calls and direct them to the appropriate department or individual
- Schedule appointments for patients and maintain the appointment calendar
- Collect patient information and update electronic medical records using Epic or similar software
- Verify insurance information and assist with insurance claims processing
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the front desk area
- Assist with other administrative tasks as needed
```Experience```
- Previous experience as a receptionist or in a similar administrative role preferred
- Knowledge of medical terminology and experience working in a medical setting is a plus
- Proficient in using office equipment such as computers, printers, and phone systems
- Familiarity with HIPAA regulations and maintaining patient confidentiality
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail

Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $15.00 - $17.00 per hour
Expected hours: 15 – 20 per week
