We are currently seeking a skilled Dental Receptionist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have 1-2 years of experience working in a dental or medical office setting and possess a strong understanding of administrative tasks in a healthcare environment.

Responsibilities:
- Welcome patients as they arrive at the dental office, providing a friendly and professional first point of contact.
- Assist patients with scheduling appointments, coordinating treatment plans, and answering inquiries about services.
- Manage patient records accurately, ensuring all information is up-to-date and organized.
- Verify insurance coverage and process insurance claims efficiently.
- Handle billing and payment processing, including collecting outstanding balances.
- Answer phone calls and emails promptly, addressing patient concerns and forwarding messages to appropriate staff members.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the reception area, waiting room, and front desk.
- Assist with administrative tasks such as filing, faxing, scanning, and data entry.
- Collaborate with dental assistants, hygienists, and other team members to ensure smooth patient flow and efficient office operations.
- Follow HIPAA guidelines and maintain patient confidentiality at all times.
- Stay updated on office policies, procedures, and industry regulations.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional education or training in healthcare administration is preferred.
- 1-2 years of experience working in a dental or medical office environment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with patients and colleagues.
- Strong organizational abilities and attention to detail.
- Proficiency in computer skills, including knowledge of dental software (e.g., Dentrix, Open Dental) and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced setting.
- Positive attitude, professionalism, and a commitment to providing excellent patient care.
