LHH Recruitment Solutions is working with a Law Firm in Prescott, AZ 86303 that is looking to add a Legal Assistant to the team. The ideal candidate will have experience as a Legal Receptionist or as a Paralegal. Pay range based on years of Experience + Education- $17 - $25 per hour depending on prior experience.
Job duties
Serve as the primary point of contact for applicants and clients, offering a welcoming and reassuring atmosphere.
Conduct interviews with applicants and complete applications for legal services through various channels, including in-person, telephonic, and online platforms.
Assess eligibility for legal services based on predetermined criteria.
Perform conflict checks to ensure compliance with legal regulations and ethical standards.
Provide legal advice and brief services under the supervision of an attorney.
Prepare correspondence and other relevant documents in accordance with established procedures and guidelines.
Requirements:
Previous experience in a legal support role preferred.
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
Strong attention to detail and organizational abilities.
Proficiency in relevant software applications and online platforms.
Ability to work effectively under supervision and independently when required.
Knowledge of legal terminology and procedures is advantageous.
