As a Receptionist, you will be the first point of contact for the Firm. You will welcome and greet our clients. You will also coordinate front-desk activities, including distributing correspondence and redirecting phone calls.
To be successful as a Receptionist, you should have a pleasant personality, as this is also a customer service role. You should also be able to deal with emergencies in a timely and effective manner, while streamlining office operations. Multitasking and stress management skills are essential for this position.
Ultimately, a Receptionist’s duties and responsibilities are to ensure the front desk welcomes guests positively, and executes all administrative tasks to the highest quality standards.
Responsibilities and Duties
- Welcome clients as soon as they arrive at the office
- Answer high volume of incoming phone calls and transfer appropriately
- Ensure office tidy and presentable, with all necessary stationery and material
- Provides callers with information such as address, directions to the firm's location, fax numbers, website and other related information
- Perform other clerical receptionist duties such as filing, photocopying, and faxing
- Coordinates the pick-up and delivery of express mail services (FedEx, UPS, etc.)
- Assists in the ordering of office and kitchen supplies, and keeping track of inventory
Qualifications and Skills
- Proven work experience as a Receptionist or similar role
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite & Google Apps
- Professional attitude and appearance
- Great written and verbal communication skills
- Great time management skills
- Customer service attitude
- Positive attitude and willingness to learn
Preferred Education and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree required
- 1-2 year of related experience
- Must be bi-lingual (Spanish)
Schedule:
Monday-Friday,9:00 a.m.- 6:00 p.m.
