Receptionist At A 5 Star Senior Living Community

Cambridge Village of Apex is looking for a receptionist to join our team! We are a resort-style Independent Living community in Apex, North Carolina. Please see our job description and details below. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

· Answers the telephone in a professional manner; directs calls to appropriate individuals, and/or takes messages.

· E-mail, fax or photocopy information as needed.

· Maintains current resident and staff directories. (Enters new resident Information form and oversees/maintains resident Information computer file including resident birthdays, emergency contact information, etc.)

· Accepts job applications and forwards to appropriate department.

· First responder to the residents’ emergency call systems and takes appropriate action.

· Announces emergency codes and instructions over public address system as required.

· Assists residents, family members, and others with inquiries regarding resident and facility information.

· Maintains a log for recording resident requests or issues.

· Enters maintenance requests into the work order system.

· Accepts payments for ancillary charges or services.

· Makes key FOBS for new residents and employees.

· Performs housekeeping duties in common areas as assigned.

· Receives (Marketing) inquiries from “walk-ins” and phone calls regarding information about the Cambridge Village Community. Answers basic questions as time allows and forwards information to Marketing Department.

ENTRY QUALIFICATIONS
· Minimum high school diploma or equivalent.

· Exceptional customer service skills and telephone etiquette.

· Proficient in use of personal computer to include e-mail, internet and Microsoft Word.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $12.00 - $13.00 per hour

Expected hours: 18 – 29 per week
