Salem Media Group is hiring a full-time Receptionist in Maitland, FL.
Here’s your chance: we’re looking to add a full-time Receptionist to our staff.

- Will shine as the first point of contact within the company for our treasured clients
- Excels at interpersonal communication, problem-solving, jumping quickly between projects, and fostering streamlined communication between our authors and multiple departments
- Enjoys showing off their entrepreneurial side: an eagerness to learn, improve processes, and takes ownership of responsibilities with little supervision
- Embraces their 9-to-5 with a team-first mentality, and enjoys attending and assisting with the occasional office party (we REALLY like to eat)
- Proficient with Microsoft tools (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Be excited to work in-office daily greeting & providing assistance to our internal and external clients and guests
- Process incoming/outgoing mail
- Management of the free book orders report
- Author copyright processing (receive, log electronically, and forward)
- Prepare checks for deposit weekly (work with Accounting)
- Order, organize, and put away office supplies
- Process Author Annual Renewal Fees, as needed, to support Author Services Reps
- Open and close the front office each day
- Receive and assist incoming communications from authors
- Package and Drop off UPS and Fedex deliveries
- Manage shipping supplies and postage
- Liaison between the building management and our office
- Update and maintain Reception and Building Manuals
- Communicate with office vendors as needed
- Daily wipe counter in breakroom, clear sink and straighten up before leaving
- Weekly fridge cleanouts on Thursday
- Assisting with additional tasks and special projects, as needed
