```Job Summary``` We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Medical Receptionist to join our team. The Medical Receptionist will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service to patients, managing phone systems, scheduling appointments, and maintaining accurate patient records. The ideal candidate will have experience working in a medical office setting and possess strong communication skills. ```Responsibilities``` - Greet and check-in patients upon arrival, ensuring all necessary paperwork is completed - Answer phone calls and direct them to the appropriate department or individual - Schedule patient appointments and follow-up visits, coordinating with medical staff and patients - Verify insurance information and collect co-payments or outstanding balances - Maintain patient records, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality - Assist with administrative tasks such as filing, faxing, and scanning documents - Provide exceptional customer service to patients, addressing inquiries or concerns in a professional manner - Collaborate with medical staff to ensure smooth patient flow and efficient operations ```Qualifications``` - Previous experience as a Medical Receptionist or in a similar role preferred - Knowledge of medical office procedures and terminology - Familiarity with phone systems and scheduling software (e.g., Dentrix, Eaglesoft, Epic) - Understanding of HIPAA regulations and ability to maintain patient confidentiality - Strong communication skills, both verbal and written - Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail - Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment - Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and work independently or as part of a team Note: This job description is not intended to be all-inclusive.
