Law Firm Receptionist
Georgia Probate Law Group is seeking to fill an open Receptionist position in the firm. The Receptionist is responsible for answering incoming calls and ensuring that each call is routed to the right person successfully. In addition, the Receptionist is fully responsible for ensuring the lobby is always ready to welcome guests. That means that you will be resetting conference rooms after a meeting, have knowledge of who will be visiting the firm daily, managing the schedule of the multiple conference rooms for our team, and welcoming all guests to the firm.
Our firm works exclusively on estate and trust matters after a person has passed away. As a result, our team help with many uncontested and contested estates.
If done right, the person in this position can significantly impact the client experience by providing an excellent first impression.
How to Succeed in this Position
This position is ideal for a person who has great customer service, listening, and organizational skills. An ideal candidate for this position is friendly and focused on helping the client solve problems, while at the same time handle emotional clients. For a person to be successful in this position, he or she must be able to carefully listen to the client, be able to handle themselves professionally, and direct the Client to the appropriate team member.
To be successful in this position, you must be a detail-oriented person. Our team members will be counting on you to ensure that each client is welcome to the firm in a friendly and welcoming way and that our lobby is always ready to receive guests.
In addition, you must demonstrate solid written and oral communication skills and strong proficiency with office software such as Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and Adobe PDF.
Finally, our firm is a team, and we all work together to give our clients a great experience while working with us. Every one of our clients has lost someone they cared about, and none of them wants to have to work with a probate attorney. So, one simple thing we try to do is make each interaction they have with our team positive or brighten their day in some way. Based on the feedback we’ve received from clients, sometimes those little things make all the difference in helping clients have a better day or week.
About the Firm
We are a client-focused firm. Our firm focuses exclusively on helping clients after a loved one has passed away, so the candidate must have high emotional intelligence and maintain a professional relationship with the client through the emotional ups and downs that the client will inevitably experience. You are a key person on the front lines that will determine the client’s experience with our firm. You must represent the firm well and look out for the client’s needs.

Requirements
To be considered for the position, the candidate must meet the following qualifications:
· 1-2 years of professional office experience
· Working knowledge of Microsoft office applications, such as Word, Excel, and Outlook
· Excellent listening skills
· Excellent independent problem-solving skills
· Very strong attention to detail
· Excellent writing skills
· Excellent customer service skills
· Positive outlook and a desire to help clients
· Ability to keep track of and meet deadlines
· Goal-oriented personality with a focus on doing what it takes to help the client achieve successful results in their cases, and meeting or exceeding firm goals
